- 250 gms all purpose flour
- 250 gms powdered castor sugar
- 3-4 eggs (medium size)
- 250 gms softened unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup milk
- 3/4 tsp baking powder
- 1.5-2 tsp Ossoro Creamy Buttercake essence
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees centigrade. Sift flour, baking powder together. Add powdered sugar to butter and mix thoroughly until it becomes a consistent mix. Add eggs and flour mix in intervals whilst continuously mixing the batter. Add 1/2 cup of milk and mix well.
Add 1.5-2t sp of Ossoro's Creamy Buttercake essence to the soft, fluffy batter. After addition of the essence to the batter, mix gently using a ladle.
Add the dough, to a greased pan or alternatively add them to lined up cupcake trays and bake for 40-55 minutes (@175 degrees centigrade). Incase of cupcakes, bake for 25-35 minutes (@ 175 degrees centigrade).
Insert a toothpick in the centre of the cake, and it should come out clean. This shows that the cake has been baked completely.
